Becoming an adult..the hard way...
Mama used to tell me never to put a hot plate under cold water because it would crack. This morning, after baking Salmon for my lunch, (Salmon that has been diced into 6 pieces in effort to make sure it’s cooked thoroughly because I haven’t yet developed an eye for these things) I immediately put the casserole dish into the sink, poured soap and water on it, and was dazzled by the crackling...
